Connection Point was founded around an idea for creating a comfortable and inclusive space for collaboration, capacity building, and community development.
In the spirit of respect and truth, we honor and acknowledge that we are located at Moh’kinsstis, on the traditional Treaty 7 territory of the Blackfoot confederacy and the Mètis Nation Region Three. We are all treaty people.
Our space is in the historic Teskey Residence, which was originally built in 1911 for a local farmer named Benjamin Teskey. It is one of few early Twentieth-Century residential buildings located in Victoria Park (East Beltline) and the only remaining one of its kind situated on 1 ST SE (Calgary Historic Resource Inventory).
The house was converted into a mixed use space and our offices are designed to reflect the old world charm of the building.
We invite individuals from all walks of life to come and engage in a process of learning, sharing, healing, and / or growing.
Our professionals are carefully screened for their ability to provide competent, ethical, and holistic health, wellness, and education services.
