Connection Point was founded around an idea for creating a comfortable and inclusive space for collaboration, capacity building, and community development.
This space has transformed over the years and now, in light of the fallout from COVID-19, space is not as clearly defined. More and more, digital spaces have been cultivated out of necessity in order to keep us connected. While Connection Point is still a physical space, it is now reaching new limits by utilizing technologies that enable a broader reach.
Ironically, we are now invited more intimately into the lives of others and get a special glimpse into life out of the therapy room - we are now in your homes and out on walks with you. Engaging with you in the world around you and connecting in ways we could not have imagined. No matter what brings clients to therapy, we are honoured to be with you, whether it is virtually or safely distanced in person.
Our head office remains in Calgary, on the lands traditionally known as Moh’kinsstis, where the mighty Bow and Elbow rivers meet.
In the spirit of respect and truth, we honour and acknowledge the traditional Treaty 7 territory of the Blackfoot confederacy and the Mètis Nation Region Three. We are all treaty people. Truth and reconciliation come through this awareness and only then, can healing begin.
Connection Point invites people from all walks of life to come and engage in processes that promotes learning, sharing, healing, and growing.
