PRACTICE CONSIDERATIONS

Collaborating with health professionals to develop and grow their practice.

Professionals of all ages may find themselves at a place in their careers where they are searching for more autonomy. They want to build their own client base and move toward self employment.

Those with established private practices may be looking to diversify their network and gain new perspectives on clinical supervision and business considerations.

I offer support to health professionals in two main avenues - private practice considerations and supervision.

Private Practice Considerations

Starting out in private practice involves a lot of consideration and preparation. Making key business decisions early on will help guide your movement towards growth and sustainability.

Practical consultation sessions will involve looking at where you currently are, and where you would like to be. We will collaborate on getting all of your paperwork in order, making sure you are compliant with applicable legislation, and/or working through challenging business and client related scenarios.

Opportunities to participate in group supervision sessions may also be made available.

Supervision

Working in private practice can often be an isolating experience. Finding colleagues who understand this and align with your practice framework are essential elements to staying invigorated in our work.

I offer clinical consultation and supervision for other health professionals in order to unpack challenging client situations, explore possible avenues for meaningful intervention, and support clinicians on their journey of self-care.
