"Take care of yourself first, so you are powerful when you give."

- Sharron (che che) Johnstone

Connection Point is a place for learning, planning, growing, and healing.

We collaborate with our clients to build capacity and foster meaningful connections with the self, others, and the environment around us.

In the spirit of respect and truth, we honor and acknowledge that we are located in Moh’kinsstis, on the traditional Treaty 7 territory of the Blackfoot confederacy and the Mètis Nation Region Three. We are all treaty people.

Connection Point is an affirming and inclusive space for people of all backgrounds, beliefs, abilities, orientations, and identities.

COVID-19 Response

As the COVID-19 crisis begins to become more manageable, we remain committed to ensuring the health and safety of all clients. Please be advised that a mask is no longer required when entering the premises, however, you are welcome to use your own judgement. Once you are in the therapy room, you will do not need to weak a mask, as there is enough space in the room to remain physically distanced.

We are still taking additional precautions such as regularly cleaning in between appointments.

We also continue to offer distance-based counselling. For more information about distance-based counselling or to book an appointment, please feel free to contact us.

We understand the impact this situation can have on people's mental wellbeing and so we have published a fact sheet on Psychological Coping During a Pandemic that is aligned with the Psychologists' Association of Alberta.

Sessions are available to individuals, couples, families, and groups who are looking to actively work through challenges, make difficult decisions, or build resiliency.

Individual and group-based clinical consultation, debriefing, and ethical decision making services are offered to those in the health and human services sector.
